Beetle Bank Farm
Moor Lane, Murton, YO19 5XD, Yorkshire and The Humber
An evening of Moon spotting, a look at the scale of the Universe and star gazing. Come along as the York Astronomical Society attempt to spot a very thin crescent Moon, just after sunset and observe the wonders of the night sky (weather permitting). Local Astronomer Martin Whipp will also give an illustrated talk at this fantastic location — Beetle Bank Farm near Murton has remarkably dark skies for a site so close to the city of York! Ticket required.
