Join the members of Cranfield Astronomical Society for this one of their regular Tuesday night meetings on the Cranfield University Campus which is also home to the Loxham Observatory.

These sessions are open to the public and begin at 19:30 in the CSA Lecture Room. They often include an astronomical presentation or practical workshop along with observing from the observatory if weather permits.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
