Cosy Getaway, Wander and Wonder
Friday 9th February 2024 from 15:00pm to Sunday 11th February 2024 11:00am
Gumboots & Wellingtons
Ellerburn, Pickering, North Yorkshire, YO18 7LL
In a leafy corner of the North York Moors National Park, on the edge of the vast and beautiful Dalby Forest, you’ll find two cosy hideaways tucked away in a large cottage garden… perfect for a stargazing getaway.
Choose to hideaway for a weekend in the shepherd hut or garden den at Gumboots & Wellingtons during February and receive s’mores treats to enjoy by the fire pit, as well as a hand-drawn map to guide you on a twilight wander through the groups to gaze at the dark skies above us.
As the sun goes down, snuggle under warm blankets and wonder at the sparkling star-filled dark sky.
Suitability: 2 adults only, available to book each weekend during the Dark Skies Festival. The cost includes locally sourced and homemade breakfast supplies for guests and a basket of wood to use on the wood burner or fire pit.
