Cosmic Qigong with Mark Westmoquette
Saturday 12th April 2025 from 18:00pm to 22:00pm
Tokes Farm
Tokes Lane, Shaftesbury, Dorset, SP7 9AP
An evening around finding connection and flow with the cosmos through energy practices and contemplation.
Join me, an astrophysicist, qigong teacher and Zen meditation teacher, in exploring a series of movement-based energy practices and still contemplations designed to help us find a sense of connection to our cosmic self – the view of ourselves as an energetic being from, within, and of, the universe, connected and flowing with it. We’ll start off practising inside in the warm, and then as it gets dark (and the stars come out – hopefully) we’ll go outside and tune into the energy of the earth and sky.
Suitable for all who have a curiosity about how our body’s inner energy connects and relates to the energy that flows through the whole universe. The movements will be gentle and accessible to all with reasonable mobility.
Please note that this has already taken place on 12/04/2025
