Copthorne Observatory Open Day
Saturday 23rd July 2022 from 14:00pm to 17:00pm
Copthorne Observatory
Effingham Lane, Copthorne, West Sussex, RH10 3HR
Join the welcoming members of the Crawley Astronomical Society as they open the doors to their observatory on the grounds of Copthorne School.
You’ll enjoy a tour of the new facility and learn more about telescopes and how they work — if you have a telescope take it along for expert advice!
There will also be solar observing, an excellent opportunity to safely view our nearest star, the Sun, in incredible detail using a solar telescope. Finally, a bring-and-buy sale will have beginner telescopes and accessories available.
Please note that this has already taken place on 23/07/2022
