Join the members of Hampshire Astronomical Group at their Clanfield Observatory for this one of their regular public open evenings. The event includes a tour of the facilities and looking through their large telescopes if weather permits. These events are popular and sell out well in advance; early booking is advisable.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
