A short illustrated guide followed by the chance to see some of these for yourselves through several telescopes at Saturn, Jupiter amd a 9 day old moon plus several deep sky objects. A free event sponsored by Deepdale Backpackers and King’s Lynn and District Astronomy Society.

This event takes place as part of the Norfolk Coast Dark Skies Festival 2019.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
