Society meeting

Events that are run by a local astronomical society, astronomy club or group often involving a presentation by a guest speaker with observing afterwards, weather permitting. Most societies and groups are very happy for non-members to join such meetings, sometimes for a small fee or donation. Whichever meeting you attend and however experienced (or not) you may be you are guaranteed a warm welcome!
