Everyone is invited to join the members of Castle Point Astronomy Club for this public stargazing night at their favoured location of Hadleigh Country Park. The event is free of charge (parking fees apply) and donations to the club are very much appreciated. Club members will have telescopes on hand and will happily guide you around the skies. These events are very much dependent on the weather with announcements being made on their website and twitter.

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
