Annual Stargazing evening with guest speaker Dr Andy Higginbotham. Live stargazing and a science exhibition also from 18:00 on the night.
From 18:00, the IOP Yorkshire branch, the University of York Physics department and others will be running a science exhibition and stargazing with the York Astronomical Society (weather permitting). No ticket is required for this part of the event.
Public lecture 20:00 – 21:00 with guest speaker Dr Andy Higginbotham ‘Laboratory Astrophysics: Bringing the Universe down to Earth!’. Tickets are required for the lecture (free).
