Visit the Brighton Seafront (next to the i360) on Tuesday 19 February for an evening of stargazing with astronomers from the South Downs National Park Authority, Sussex University and Brighton Astro. This is a free event with no prior booking required.

This event is taking place as part of the National Parks Dark Skies Festival 2019.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
