Binoculars are an affordable way to stargaze and are quick and easy to use. Come to the Elan Valley Dark Sky Park and learn how to use binoculars to find the treasures of the night sky.
The evening will start at 7.30pm with a light supper then Steve Tonkin, astronomer and author, will give an insightful talk about the night sky. Weather permitting, this will be followed by a practical session of observing the night sky through binoculars. Cost of the ticket includes a tasty soup and bread.
This project has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.
