Description:A post-Christmas event to help anyone who has acquired a telescope and are still a bit bewildered. Our experienced members will be on hand to answer your questions, and cover such aspects as set-up, eyepieces, and astrophotography. Feel free to bring you equipment along if you wish.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
