Local astronomer Stephen Mackintosh will present a beginners guide to observing, with tips on what you might consider buying to get started out and advice on what to avoid.
There will also have a gibbous Moon in the sky so if conditions are clear we’ll cut our talk short and head out to the nature reserve for some hands on observing of the Moon and brighter stars.
