Beacon Hill Observatory open afternoon and solar viewing
Sunday 21st August 2022 from 14:00pm to 16:00pm
Beacon Hill Observatory
Montgomery Road, Cleethorpes, South Humberside, DN35
The Beacon Hill Observatory will be open from 14:00 to 16:00 on Sunday, 21st of August. The gates into the allotments where the observatory is based will be available from 13:45.
As well as visiting the observatory, you will have a chance to see the new Beginners’ programme. If the sky is clear, you can safely view the Sun using our telescopes, including their new solar telescope.
Refreshments will be available; hopefully, some additional members will be present for you to meet. There will be no need to stay for the full two hours.
For further information contact John Dunthorne at [email protected].
Please note that this has already taken place on 21/08/2022
