Elizabeth Tindal, Biosphere Dark Sky Ranger will explain the science and stories behind the stars, constellations and the majestic moon. Enjoy the magical experience of Barr Forest by night. Toasted marshmallows will be available. All ages welcome, wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Park and meet at Changue Woods Trails Car Park (left fork to top)

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
