Bore Place is delighted to welcome astrophotographer Jeremy Phillips FRAS back to Bore Place for a talk about ‘Shooting the Stars’. The evening is aimed at anyone interested in discovering how images of the night sky’s most beautiful objects can be captured or want to take a virtual journey through space via his photographs.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
