Join members of Go Stargazing to learn the basics of astrophotography and night-time landscape photography.
The evening will begin with an easy to understand format to learn how to take photos of various astronomical objects, from the many thousands of stars in the night sky, learning how to take photos of Aurora Borealis, Nebulas, Planets and Galaxies. Subject to conditions, we will travel to nearby Cawfields and Sycamore Gap to take photos of the night sky, where we will be able to see and photograph the Milky Way.

The below chart shows if and when the skies will be at their darkest during this event. Moonlight is shown in light yellow and the Sun's twilight in light blue. Midnight on the date shown is shown as a white line with sunset to the left and sunrise the next morning to the right. A black background with stars shows the best times for stargazing.
