Staindrop, Barnard Castle, DL2 3AH
Join Gary Lintern to learn the basics of astrophotography and night time landscape photography. After a short discussion about equipment and techniques, we will head to the ponds behind the castle for a practical photography session. The Moon will have set before the workshop, so the sky will be completely dark. Subject to conditions, we will be able to see and photograph the Milky Way.
This event is taking place as part of the North Pennines Stargazing Festival 2019 running from 23rd October to 3rd November 2019.
- Event offers guidance and tuition on how to take night-time photographs using a camera and tripod or using a telescope in place of a camera lens.
