Tiny Rebel - Cardiff
25 Westgate Street , Cardiff, South Glamorgan, CF10 1DD
Cardiff University is proud to present Astronomy on Tap, a completely FREE event dedicated to the wonders of astronomy and space exploration held in a very friendly local pub.
On the night of the 12th, it’s time for carnage as we explore Wonders and Blunders in the astronomy world. Ever mused about the origins of astronomy? Student of the heavens Helena Faustino Vieria is taking us back in time to answer that very question. And do you ever get that feeling of awe and well, just feeling that little bit incompetent when you see all the amazing things that astronauts and scientists get up to sometimes? Yeah, me too. Well, cosmic researcher Dr Roger Wesson is here to show us that frankly, they’re just as fallible as us, with his talk on epic blunders in astronomy.
Please note that this has already taken place on 12/06/2023
