Astronomy Night in the Great Fen

Join St Neots Astronomy Association for a special presentation and observe the Great Fen’s night skies with a laser-guided night-sky tour.
Don’t miss Bob Graham’s fascinating presentation ‘Two Launch or not to Launch” – a pictorial description of his two trips to Kourou, French Guiana, to witness Ariane 5 launches. Learn about the launcher and facilities together with his personal recollections. Bob spent over thirty years in the UK Space industry in senior engineering and management positions prior to his retirement in 2013.
Afterwards, we will head outside (weather permitting) to observe the Great Fen’s night sky. We are proud to be a designated Dark Sky Discovery Site here at Ramsey Heights, so unless the clouds get in the way we should have wonderful views of the Moon and Jupiter!
