The wonderful venue of Astrocampus will hold an Anniversary Event to celebrate 10 Years since location has been open as a public site. The event is free of charge (some sessions require prior booking) as follows:

3pm to 4pm: To Infinity and Beyond!
With live explosions and more join in this family-friendly look at space exploration in this demonstration lecture. Booking required!

4pm to 6.30pm: Explore our Universe
Join us for a hands-on, fun-filled exhibition exploring our Solar System and beyond!

  • Discover the wonders of space in the Cosmodome, an inflatable planetarium
  • Glimpse new worlds and other planets with virtual reality
  • Have fun with robots and try driving a mini space rover
  • Tour the University observatory, the Astrocampus
  • Ask your questions in a live podcast recording with SYZYGY
  • Get hands-on with a genuine meteorite
  • Find out about the constellations and use your creative side to invent your own
  • And lots more!

This is a drop-in event and tickets are not required.

6.30pm to 7.30pm: Exoplanets and Alien Atmospheres
Explore new worlds and discover exoplanets – planets orbiting stars other than our own Sun – in this fascinating talk. Booking required!
