Description

The astronomy-enthusiastic team at Perton Library Astronomy Group are organising a two week long celebration of the Apollo moon landings taking place from Friday 15th July through to Friday 26th July.

This particular event takes place on the day of the 50th anniversary and includes:

  • 50th Anniversary of Moon Landing – explore our audio-visual exhibition

  • Join your kids to The Summer Reading Challenge and get started on your Space Chase!

  • Help us decorate the Perton Library Rocket

  • Walk on the Moon in our Selfie Booth

  • Special Warhammer 'The Dark Side of the Moon' paint and play – 10:30am – 1:00pm – Drop-in and join the game!

  • Moon Landing Mini-Talk from Doug Bickley, or very own resident Astronomer and Alvin the Astronaut! 2:00pm – 3:00pm


  • This event is free of charge with no prior booking required!
