On Friday August 9th the Artrix Arts Centre in collaboration with Redditch Astronomical Society will be showing the Apollo 11 movie at 11am and at 10pm that night there will be observing on site with telescopes available from local societies (weather permitting).

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
