Join the members of the Andover Astronomical Society for this one of their regular third-Thursday of each month meetings, from September through to April. Sessions include a presentation by a guest speaker followed by informal observing afterwards if weather permits. Everyone is welcome, including absolute beginners!

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
