Wells & Mendip Astronomers in collaboration with Space Detectives present a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, man’s first landing on the Moon.

10:00 – 16:00 – Free entry to exhibition and activities including astrophotography, virtual reality Saturn V launch, Handle a Moon Rock, pictorial space displays, Saturn V models and much more.

16:00 film “Last Man on The Moon” (free)

19:30 – 21:00 – Public talk by Nick Howes who is an Apollo fan, collector, amateur astronomer and space advocate. Non-members £3, students £2, family £5 payable on the door
