Stars and Stones Experience - Winter 2022
Saturday every week from October 2022 to March 2023
OM Dark Sky Park and Observatory
Davagh Forest, Cookstown, County Tyrone, BT79 8JH
Spend a night under the stars, learning about the ancient Beaghmore Stone Circles and gazing at the constellations through a state-of-the-art telescope at OM Dark Sky Park and Observatory.
Boasting the darkest sky in the heart of ancient Ulster, you can spend the evening and night at the foothills of the Sperrin Mountains, by the edge of Davagh Forest and the Beaghmore Stone Circles.
A local storyteller and guide will join you, deftly weaving together archaeology and astronomy, telling you about the stones and their discovery.
You might also extend your stay by staying in luxury glamping pods at nearby Sperrin View Glamping.
This experience is available from October to March and requires booking in advance and a minimum number of persons per booking.
