Reading Astronomical Society Friday Club for Beginners
The fourth Friday of the month from August 2022 to May 2023
Swallowfield Parish Hall
Swallowfield Street, Reading, Berkshire, RG7 1QW
On the fourth Friday of each month from August to May, astronomers from the Reading Astronomical Society hold an astronomy outreach session at Swallowfield Parish Hall. These sessions are ideal for beginners and suitable for all ages.
Stargazing outside the hall using telescopes is a priority should weather permit. You’re welcome to take along your telescope if you have one for expert advice. All ages can attend; younger ones are welcome to join the stargazing sessions.
Sessions also include a talk on an astronomical topic ideal for novices, indoor demonstrations and what is visible in the night sky.
Refreshments will be available. There is no charge for these meetings and no need to book in advance.
Please note that this has already taken place on 01/08/2022
