Public stargazing with Sandy Astronomical Society
The fourth Monday of the month from October 2024 to March 2025
Blunham Playing Fields
Barford Road, Blunham, Bedfordshire, MK44 3ND
Everyone is invited to join the Members of the Sandy Astronomical Society for their “observatunity” outreach events at Blunham playing fields.
It’s an ideal opportunity to chat with local astronomers and have a look through their telescopes! If you have a telescope of your own, take it along for expert help and advice!
These sessions occur from October to March each month. Monday is the preferred date; however, depending on the weather, the session may move to the following Thursday.
Note that events only take place if the skies are mostly clear at this location according to the Clear Outside weather app.
Please note that this has already taken place on 01/10/2024
