Young Astronomers Club is the perfect introduction for the budding astronomer!
Run by a friendly team of astronomers from the North Essex Astronomical Society, you’ll learn about the night sky, how to use telescopes and participate in other great fun activities. On clear nights you will be able to look through their telescopes.
The club runs on the second Tuesday of each month (except for August) at Southview School in Witham and is for primary school-age children.
Each session costs £4 per child and includes a squash drink. Tea and coffee are available for adults for a small donation. Parents are required to stay and encouraged to join in.
If space allows, our coordinator may accommodate children outside the age range. Please get in touch with the Society to ask.
Prior booking is essential!
