Mexborough & Swinton Astronomical Society Meeting
Thursday every week from January 2023 to December 2023
Swinton Bottom Club
2-4 Station Street, Swinton, South Yorkshire, S64 8AU
Everyone is welcome to join the friendly members of the Mexborough & Swinton Astronomical Society at their regular Thursday evening gatherings in their meeting room at the Swinton Bottom Club.
The Society’s weekly programme consists of lectures and talks from a wide range of visiting speakers and members and training where more experienced observers pass on their skills to new ones.
These sessions are a great way to meet local astronomers, get help and advice on equipment and learn about the group’s practical observing sessions and observatory.
Note: these sessions are also accessible remotely via Zoom — please get in touch with the Society for more details.
Please note that this has already taken place on 01/01/2023
