Manchester Astronomical Society weekly meeting at Godlee Observatory
Thursday every week from July 2022 to December 2022
Godlee Observatory
Sackville Street, Manchester, Lancashire, M1 3NL
On most Thursday’s, members of the Manchester Astronomical Society meet at the Godlee Observatory, located on top of the Sackville Building at the University of Manchester.
These events often include a talk or presentation; then, weather permitting, they may also observe using telescopes.
Unfortunately, the observatory itself is not wheelchair accessible. In addition, children under the age of 11 cannot attend due to health and safety rules.
Visitors are welcome to attend a few of these meetings as a guest before being invited to join the Society.
Access to the building is by prior arrangement. If you are interested in attending this meeting, please see the visitor information page on the Manchester Astronomical Society website.
