Liverpool Young Astronomers Club
The third Thursday of the month from October 2024 to March 2025
Leighton Observatory - Pex Hill
Pex Hill Visitors Centre, Widnes, Cheshire, WA8 5QW
The Liverpool Astronomical Society run a monthly Young Astronomers Club at their Leighton Observatory in Pex Hill.
The club meets monthly between October and March to observe through telescopes, take astrophotos of various objects in the night sky, and have interesting talks and astronomy-related activities. These sessions usually occur on the third Thursday of each month; however, they are subject to change.
The club is aimed at 10 to 16-year-olds, but all youngsters are welcome! We recommend taking warm clothing as you may be outside! Drinks and refreshments included.
A parent or responsible adult must accompany youngsters. The cost is a voluntary donation of a few pounds; those aged 14-17 can choose to become Junior Members of the Society.
