A partial solar eclipse will be visible from the UK on the morning of the 10th June 2021 and Go Stargazing is giving away 1,000 pairs of eclipse glasses to help people see it safely!
This rare event will see the Moon pass in front of the Sun, as viewed from the United Kingdom, covering about 25% of the Sun’s disc — hence a “partial” eclipse. For more details, including exact timings, see our blog post how to see the solar eclipse on 10th June 2021.

See the eclipse with your own eyes!
We’d love to send you some eclipse glasses so you can safely see the partial eclipse for yourself… Please enter your details in the below form and let us know how many pairs of glasses you would like. Please only ask for how many you need, up to 10 pairs per person. Please only submit one request!
All we ask in return is that you pay £2.50 to help cover our postage costs and import duties (the glasses have come from the USA!) Eclipse glasses normally cost £3.00 each, so even if you ask for just one pair you’ll still be getting a bargain!

Postage
Your glasses will be sent to you within a few days of you completing this form. We are sorry that we are unable to offer refunds where we have proof of postage but items are “lost in the post”.
Deadline
We will accept requests up to the 1st June 2021, or until we run out of glasses, whichever comes first… If you would like to buy some yourself we recommend buying from an independent retailer such as First Light Optics.
Sorry! That’s all folks! We do not have any eclipse glasses left! We’ll do our best to get some more, please follow us on Facebook or Twitter for updates! We are sorry if you missed out… If you’d like to buy some yourself you can do so here.
