Join members of Mansfield & Sutton Astronomical Society as they open their observatory for this popular open evening. The event runs throughout the course of the whole evening with visitors split into groups including a short presentation, observing through their huge 24 inch aperture self made telescope as well joining members for a tour of the night sky and observing through their own telescopes. A great way to spend the evening even if the weather doesn't play ball, families are very welcome. Be mindful of parking restrictions, check the event organiser's website for more details.
