Description

Escape the city lights and go milky way hunting at this well placed observatory. Enjoy a presentation and tour of the observatory facilities and, if the sky is clear, observe through the large aperture telescopes. Small entrance fee, children welcome (8+ recommended), no booking just turn up on the night.

This particular evening sees popular astronomer Mark Thompson present his brand new talk "Saturn - the Jewel of the Solar System" and is sure to be popular -- arrive early to guarantee a seat!!!

- Event will involve stargazing and observing the skies through telescopes weather permitting

- Event includes an astronomy related presentation or talk.
