Weather permitting this public stargazing event is being hosted by members of Whitby & District Astronomical Society who will be at the headland near the Captain Cook Monument with their telescopes for an evening of stargazing.  Please contact them to confirm the event is going ahead.

- This event is weather dependent and will only take place if the skies are clear enough for observing. It is therefore necessary to check the weather forecast and confirm with the event organisers that this event is going ahead.
