Join the members of the Irish Astronomical Association for this one of their regular monthly observing sessions at their favourite dark sky location Delamont Country Park Campsite. These sessions are designed to cater for everyone no matter their experience and all ages are welcome.
Note that these events only go ahead when the weather is clear and operate on a "first clear night" basis. It is important to check with the event organisers that this event is indeed going ahead as it may be rescheduled to the following weekend if the weather forecast is poor.
Wear warm clothing and take along something hot to eat and drink! Sometimes there's even a bacon and bangers fry up before the skies darken!
- This event is weather dependent and will only take place if the skies are clear enough for observing. It is therefore necessary to check the weather forecast and confirm with the event organisers that this event is going ahead.
This event is being organised by Irish Astronomical Association who should be contacted if you have any queries. We highly recommend you confirm this event is indeed going ahead before travelling. If you do attend it would be fantastic if you could let the organiser know you found them via Go Stargazing!
Please contact Irish Astronomical Association directly for more details regarding this event or, if appropriate, contact the event venue.
