Join astronomers at the Astronomy Centre for this one of a series of special midweek openings of their facility. Timed to coincide with a new moon when the skies will be at their darkest this is a great opportunity to explore the Universe using state of the art optical equipment. These events are a relaxed affair with informal discussions and a presentation on an astronomical theme if the weather is poor.
- Event includes an astronomy related presentation or talk.
- Event will involve stargazing and observing the skies through telescopes weather permitting
This event is being organised by Astronomy Centre who should be contacted if you have any queries. We highly recommend you confirm this event is indeed going ahead before travelling. If you do attend it would be fantastic if you could let the organiser know you found them via Go Stargazing!
Please contact Astronomy Centre directly for more details regarding this event or, if appropriate, contact the event venue.
