Location description

Opened on the 17th January 2012 the Malcolm Parry Observatory at The Long Eaton School has an active schedule of stargazing events throughout the year including frequent "Community Open Dome" events when members of the public can visit the facility. Their "Family Astronomy" evenings aimed at astronomers aged 9 years and upwards are also accessible to all as long you contact the organisers first as are their annual astronomy courses.
