Kernow Astronomers Practical Night

Thursday 7th December 2017 from 19:30pm to 21:30pm

St. Columb Major Academy

Newquay Road, St. Columb Major, TR9 6RW

Throughout the winter months the Kernow Astronomers meet at St Columb Major Academy for a practical observing night on the first Thursday of each month. If conditions allow they'll be outside in the rear playground which being away from lights makes an excellent dark site for stargazing. New-members are always welcome!

- Event will involve stargazing and observing the skies through telescopes weather permitting

- Event run by a local astronomical society often involving an in-depth presentation by a guest speaker with observing afterwards if weather permits. Most societies welcome members of the public to join them sometimes for a small fee or donation.

This event is being organised by Kernow Astronomers who should be contacted if you have any queries. We highly recommend you confirm this event is indeed going ahead before travelling. If you do attend it would be fantastic if you could let the organiser know you found them via Go Stargazing!
